Fraud is becoming a very serious problem in the GPT world. It has gotten so out of hand that site admins now have a forum where they post anyone that has committed fraud on their site so other site owners can be aware of that person. It might sound kind of drastic, but the people who do this are ruining it for the honest ones.
The most rampant fraud committed is the use of false information to complete offers. You MUST use valid, current information when completing these offers. The advertisers are looking for legitimate prospects, and they expect valid information. After all, they're paying for it. Unfortunately, this is starting to include the use of such services as PrivatePhone and similar services. PrivatePhone is discontinuing its free services soon. Any use of this or similar services is being discouraged.
I know of many people that use prepaid debit cards or gift accounts for credit card offers. This too, is being discouraged, and many sites now have it in their Terms of Service that their use is prohibited.
My last little tidbit of information concerns the duplication of offers. Now, we all know that doing an offer that has approved over and over for credit is not allowed. But from now on, even if an offer is denied or doesn't approve the first time, it will not be returned to your list of offers to be completed again. Advertisers consider redoing an offer until it approves to be fraud. All offers that don't approve the first time will not be available again. Making sure to keep track of the offers you've done is very, very important. If you're caught doing the same offer over and over again on different sites, you'll be banned, the money you've earned will be forfeited, and your username will be posted for all site owners to see.
