I know, it's hard to believe. I can't believe it either!
Seriously, I have no excuse. I took a break from blogging for a few weeks. I was finding it hard to come up with something to say, and truthfully, just didn't care.
I even took a break from the GPT world during this time, too. Nothing seemed to credit for me, and I was getting frustrated. I was spending way too much time completing offers, and getting little in return.
But, I'm back. It's a new year, a new beginning. Unfortunately, I won't be getting much in payments this month, but that's OK. I plan to make up for it by jumping back in and competing in the IWC's January contest at BankRollBucks. The person that makes the most money in the month of January as a IWC referral will win $25. Hopefully, things are different for me as far as offers approving. I have faith!

Do You Have Insurance?
Seriously. Nowadays, no one can afford to be without it. Will your spouse be able to pay off debt if something should happen to you? Can your business afford to lose its key man? If you do already have insurance, are you getting the best deal for your dollar?
At Advantage Term Life you can get a low rate insurance quote. They provided the most competitive, affordable term rates for families and couples across the United States.
I have life insurance through my job, but I know that if something should happen to me, it's not going to be enough for my wife to pay everything that needs to be paid. After the cost of the funeral, there won't be much left. That's why I started looking around and found Advantage Term Life. They make it easy. Right on their home page, you fill in your information, what you're looking for, and submit. With an insurance quoting service like this, you'll be able to compare many different rates and make the decision that best suits your needs.
Here's some of the policies available through Advantagetermlife.com:
- Term
- Whole Life
- Universal
- Key Man
- Second to Die
- Group Policies
- Mortgage
- Smokers
I know buying insurance can be a confusing process, but I'm trusting Advantage Term Life to make it easier for me.

Payment Proof from Independent World Community!
I just recently won first place in an earnings contest at Independent World Community! Lisa, the admin, paid me $50!
The contest was an earnings contest on FairyTaleTreasures. All I had to do was join Independent World Community, sign up as their referral on the GPT site the contest is being held on, and complete offers. When you make money, IWC makes referral money, and the person that earns the most wins! They also hold referral contests on different sites. Sign up, recruit the most referrals, and win!
This month's completion contest is on the site SunnyDayCash.
This month's referral contest is on the site RainingRiches.
Both contest winners will receive $25!
As an added bonus, if the same person wins BOTH contests, you'll receive an extra $50! That's a potential $100 to the person that wins both contests!
Both contests end at 11:59pm, December 22nd. Winnings to be paid Dec. 23rd! How's that for a Merry Christmas?!
If this sounds good to you, sign up at Independent World Community and join in the fun! While you're there, take notice of the wealth of information. Working GPT sites, blogging, and just plain fun!

Sad News on the GPT Front
Fraud is running rampant through the GPT world, and it's causing the closure of some really good sites. Members using fraudulent information or doing the same offers over and over again, site owners using fraudulent practices in their sites, and advertisers not paying out on time is reeking havoc in the industry.
I'm sad to announce that one of the sites I belong to is closing it's doors at the end of this month. The owner of SpareStash has announced that she will be closing the site down. She just can't find it profitable any longer.
If you have a balance pending there, make sure you cashout by the end of the day on November 30th. All offers will be deactivated December 1st.
This brings me to another point. It is EXTREMELY important that if you do participate in GPT sites, that you use VALID, CURRENT information when filling out the offers. It only takes one or two to ruin it for the rest of us. The advertisers are getting pretty tired of people taking advantage of the system and they aren't going to pay if you are caught. Using GPT sites is an easy, fun way to make some extra cash. Frauding GPT sites only makes it harder.
Be honest. There's no room for greed in this community!

Latest News On The GPT Front
Fraud is becoming a very serious problem in the GPT world. It has gotten so out of hand that site admins now have a forum where they post anyone that has committed fraud on their site so other site owners can be aware of that person. It might sound kind of drastic, but the people who do this are ruining it for the honest ones.
The most rampant fraud committed is the use of false information to complete offers. You MUST use valid, current information when completing these offers. The advertisers are looking for legitimate prospects, and they expect valid information. After all, they're paying for it. Unfortunately, this is starting to include the use of such services as PrivatePhone and similar services. PrivatePhone is discontinuing its free services soon. Any use of this or similar services is being discouraged.
I know of many people that use prepaid debit cards or gift accounts for credit card offers. This too, is being discouraged, and many sites now have it in their Terms of Service that their use is prohibited.
My last little tidbit of information concerns the duplication of offers. Now, we all know that doing an offer that has approved over and over for credit is not allowed. But from now on, even if an offer is denied or doesn't approve the first time, it will not be returned to your list of offers to be completed again. Advertisers consider redoing an offer until it approves to be fraud. All offers that don't approve the first time will not be available again. Making sure to keep track of the offers you've done is very, very important. If you're caught doing the same offer over and over again on different sites, you'll be banned, the money you've earned will be forfeited, and your username will be posted for all site owners to see.

An Alternative To PrivatePhone
Brring! isn't a voice mailbox, but it does earn you money!
Brring! gives you a free phone number. When someone calls that number, they hear a short, 10 second ad. After they hear the ad, they are forwarded to your personal number and connected to you, and you get paid! It's that easy!
You get paid $1.00 for your first 10 calls, then $.05 a call after that. You'll also get $1.00 for every person that signs up under you. Earn up to $.75 for each profile you complete for each of your friends that call you on your Brring! number.
Personalize the Brring! experience! Select specialized ads for certain friends according to their likes and dislikes. Don't want your boss to hear the ads? Not a problem. Just have him call you directly on your personal number.
This is an easy, simple way to make a little extra money. It's free, so why not try it today?! Click here!

PrivatePhone Service To Be Disconnected
As of December 15, 2007, the PrivatePhone service offered by NetZero will no longer be available. NetZero has made special arrangements with Packet8 for current PrivatePhone customers to transfer their number to Packet8 Freedom Unlimited Service for $19.99 a month, if you so desire.
For more information on the subject click here.
There are other voice mailbox services out there that are free, but I'm going to have to do a little more research before I can recommend any of them.

Deer Crossing!
OK, so late Saturday night, I hit a deer on my way to take my son's girlfriend home. We're in my little 1996 Ford Aspire. It's a work car, lots of miles, a previous dent on the driver's side front fender from another deer attack a couple of years ago. I'm a machinist, and I'm not the cleanest guy in the world when I get done with work, so this car is a "beater" car. A car that I don't have to worry about being dirty in, or crashing into deer in.
My son on the other hand, isn't so laid back about the car. He's a newly licensed (learner's permit) driver who was embarrassed enough already just having to drive this car. Now, with a dent in the side, a new dent in the hood, and a missing grill, he's, let's just say, less than thrilled.
We do have another "good" car to drive, but the Aspire is a standard shift car, and I want him to learn to drive that. Whether he actually owns a car that is stick, I think it's important that he know. Having said that, he's actually doing pretty good. I've only gotten whiplash a couple of times, and that seems to be getting better. I think he's actually starting to enjoy driving a manual car.
As for the deer we hit, I really wanted to take it home for the meat. I called the sheriff's department, but by the time they got there to tag it for me, it had run off. I think it had a broken leg, but apparently it wasn't enough to keep it down. The officer used his flashlight and gun to look around the edge of the woods a bit, but it was gone. So much for that!
Anyway, I'm on a mad search for a new hood and fender for the car. I wouldn't want the kid to be embarrassed any more, God forbid! I've got to get on the phone and start calling a couple of junkyards in the area.
Just a little plug here for my GPT sites: The money I make on these sites this month will definitely come in handy. It's nice to know that when something comes up, such as a deer attack late at night, there's a little money to fall back on without having to dip into your checking or savings accounts.
If you're interested in making a little extra money each month, check out the list of GPT sites that I belong to in the left side bar. I'm telling you, it's easy money that comes in handy for life's little interruptions!

GPT Tip: Disposable Email Address
Completing offers on GPT sites requires a legitimate email address. Entering a legitimate email address for these offers produces hundreds, if not thousands, of spam emails a day from the advertisers. To avoid having to deal with these spammy emails in your regular email account, sign up for a disposable email address.
Gmail is excellent for this purpose! Not only is it capable of handling the huge amount of emails, it allows you to make several addresses out of one account. This is important when doing several offers from the same advertiser. Let me explain.
Say your email address is abc123@gmail.com. Gmail lets you add a "."(without the quotes) anywhere you want in the address before the "@". For example: a.bc123@gmail.com or abc.123@gmail.com. This allows you to enter a valid, different email address for your similar offers, and it will still be mailed to one account. The abc123@gmail.com account!
One other thing I suggest when signing up with Gmail, try to make your username as long as possible so you have many places to put the ".", and you'll get the most out of your email address. When you've used the address as much as you can, start all over and make yourself a new one. Believe me, this is important for getting your offers to approve. If you use the same address every time, the advertisers will not approve you.
Hopefully this information helps you get those offers completed. Good luck!

How I Make Money On The Internet
I earn a decent amount of money belonging to GPT sites on the internet. GPT stands for Get-Paid-To, meaning get paid to complete offers, surveys, and trials. There are many GPT sites out there that are legitimate, with friendly managers and staff. You see, the site owners don't make any money unless you make money, so they are usually very happy to help in any way to insure you make money.
On the left sidebar of this page, you'll find a list of all the sites that I belong to and make money off of. I've gotten paid from all of them, so I know they are legitimate. Each site runs on the same principle, meaning the process is pretty much the same for all. The differences between the sites include payouts per offer, payout schedules, contests, and referral commissions.
Signing up to these sites and participating is an easy way to make free money. Membership to all of these sites is free. You don't have to dish out any money to make money with these sites. There are a ton of free offers to be completed that won't cost you anything. On the other hand, there are trial offers to complete too, that may or may not require a credit card. It's totally up to you which offers you choose to complete, and how much time you invest in the process.
As an added bonus, getting others to sign up under you to complete offers on these sites, will earn you money also. You'll receive a percentage of your referrals earnings as well as your own. Some sites only pay out one level for referrals, while others pay out as much as two or three! So, it's to your advantage to sign up referrals under you. It's free money that you don't even have to work for! Who wouldn't love that!
I'm going to highlight each site in seperate posts, detailing the rules and FAQ for each one. I'll list special promotions as they come available, such as contests or anything else they are offering.
I recommend signing up for at least two of these sites. The only thing I stress, and I mean REALLY STRESS, is to be careful not to complete the same offer twice. Some offers will be repeated on more than one site, and completing the offer more than once is considered fraud. Not only will your offer be denied, you run the risk of getting banned and any money you have pending payout will be denied also. Something else to remember, only one account per household, per site. Only sign into your accounts on one computer, and don't let anyone else sign in at your house.
Ok, that's about it for now. There are a few tips and tricks I've learned along to way to help with offers approving, and I'll be adding them here as I go along. Be sure to bookmark this blog for updated information, tips and tricks, and an inside look into my life!

A Little About Me
My name is Mike. I'm a father of three, married 11 years next week. I'm a machinist by day, and a GPT fanatic by night. I'll be explaining the GPT thing soon, so stick with me! We live in a small community in Wisconsin, surrounded by farmland and cows as far as the eye can see. While city living isn't my thing, country living can get boring sometimes, which is one of the reasons I've turned to the internet. I'm getting ahead of myself. Back to me.....
I'm an avid fisherman with two boats. One an 18ft that I use for fishing the smaller lakes for walleye, and one a 24ft that I use for fishing Lake Michigan for King Salmon, Lake Trout, and Rainbow Trout. If I'm not working, I'm fishing. Even in the winter! I break out the ice shanty, cut a hole in the ice and fish. I look forward to February every year when the sturgeon spearing season opens. There's nothing better than sitting by that huge hole, waiting for that big, prehistoric fish to swim through! Speaking of which, I have to remember to get my license before the end of this month!
This is my favorite time of year. I'm a HUGE football fan. Ranking right up there with sturgeon spearing is high school football. My oldest son plays on the Junior Varsity football team at the high school. Sitting in the stands watching him play makes me so proud! His games are on Thursday nights, and then the two of us bundle up and head to the school again on Friday nights for the Varsity game. Our Varsity team is 5-1 right now, heading to the playoffs next week. We'll be there too, I'm sure!
Talking about football, the oldest boy and I went to the Packer game this past Sunday at Lambeau Field. What a rush that was! The Packers won, 17-14. We had pretty good seats, about 50 rows up in the corner of the endzone. We didn't get up there in enough time to tailgate like most people do, but you can bet we'll make it earlier next time. That looks like a heck of a good time!
Ok. so there's a little about me. Nothing special and I don't claim to be. Just a man, with a blog, that feels like he might have something to say that might either interest people or maybe even help people.
